mesh WI-FI

GoNet Systems Mobile Broadband Wireless solution combines advanced smart antenna technology with innovative mesh radio access architecture. The combination unleashes a new level of Wi-Fi coverage, performance and economics. Traditional service providers and emerging content carriers can now take advantage of Wi-Fi for broadband public access and to deliver next generation services such as W-VoIP, gaming, video streaming and other multimedia applications.

The MBW mesh Wi-Fi architecture combines the best of cellular-style radio access networking and mesh networking. When using the MBW architecture, a combination of 'micro' 'pico' and 'femto' Wi-Fi base stations are applied to provide Wi-Fi coverage. In this manner, the micro base stations MBW 2000 series are used to provide top-down micro-cellular Wi-Fi coverage, the MBW 1000 series provides complementary street-level Wi-Fi coverage and the MBW 500 series provides a gap filler for increased coverage and capacity injection. For internetworking, the micro, pico and femto MBW platforms incorporate dedicated 802.11a radios for high-performance, reliable mesh networking. Mesh networking enables cost-effective street-level networking while facilitating network configuration and reconfiguration.

The GoNet MBW mesh architecture combined with advanced smart antenna technology delivers superior Wi-Fi coverage, performance and economics. With GoNet, carriers can reduce their wireless network's footprint by up to 40%, reducing upfront CAPEX by up to 50% and lower recurring OPEX for maintenance by 30-50%.
